Every replacement starts with a tear-off down to the decking. We never go over an existing roof. Once the deck is exposed, we replace any soft or delaminated plywood, re-nail the field to current Georgia uplift code, install ice-and-water shield in valleys and around penetrations, lay synthetic underlayment across the entire field, and finish with starter strip, architectural shingles, ridge venting, and color-matched ridge caps. Drip edge, step flashing, and pipe boots are all replaced — never reused.
